Union County Fairgrounds

New Albany, MS 38652

Dear Friends,

We would like to invite you to attend the 2010 Union County Fair and Livestock Show. The "Fair," has always been a community event where friends and family come together to enjoy a good time and fellowship with old friends and make new friends.

The Union County Fair is an economic and cultural treasure. It is a place where fun, exciting, educational and competative events will be held every day without fear of rain. The Fairgrounds Arena's open air design and insulated top allow for good air movement and cool shade from the hot sun. We have giant shade trees and picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy entertainment almost every hour the fair is open. Our Ladies Building and Exhibit Building is air-conditioned, where you can cool off from the August heat and enjoy many educational programs and entertaining events.

We hope you will come and enjoy the fun and let us show you why we pride ourself in being, the "Best Little County Fair in Mississippi." Take a look at our schedule and come on out and eat a good ole fashioned corn dog and treat yourself and your family to life time memories!

2010 will be a "Block Buster"...It's Lights, Camera, Action! at the Union County Fair and Livestock Show!

We wish to thank the many volunteers, local officials and sponsors that make the fair possible.

Sincerely,
The Union County Fair Board

In 2009, We lost our beloved Billy Cosper. Billy was Fair Board President for almost 10 years. His love and dedication to the Union County Fair helped improve our fair and our facilities. He will be forever in the memory of those of us who worked with him throughout these years. We dedicate the 2010 Union County Fair and Livestock Show to him and his family.

We wish to thank Mississippi State Univeristy Extension Service for their continuing support of the Union County Fair & Livestock Show since 1941. The UCF would not be possible without MSUES and the resources and assistance of the Union County Extension Service office and staff.
